Even though Korea isn't very big, driving out from some obscure mountain nook still meant a pretty long way. The grandfather and granddaughter started complaining about being hungry halfway through. They had to pull over at a street-side Korean spot and go in to eat.
Majeossi only ordered a glass of water, munching on his own rice balls and bread, while the grandfather, granddaughter, and the waitress all gave him looks of sheer disapproval.
